This game is terrible. Maybe 15 min. of gameplay and watching men run in the air instead of the ground like they are suppose too. So many glitches with the rocks to throw to the ai. Run away.... Absolutely beautiful game, and I really liked the different models of the parshendi and chasmfiends, and how they represented the ones from the books very well. However. The problems with gameplay are too, well, problematic for it to be worth playing. I was so looking forward to running around the Shattered Plains, lashing myself to anything and everything, throwing things around like crazy, but I encountered gamebreaking bugs not even 2 minutes in. I restarted the game and got past the first one, then one of the parshendi in the chasmfiend battle bugged out and couldn't die, so I couldn't even finish it. At this point I was fed up with the bugs and the lack of actual depth in the game so I stopped trying.. I loved every minute of this and I will likely play it many times over and invite anyone I have over try it. No its not a full game, yes it's a little pricey in comparison to other things on the market, but damn. I was Kaladin Stormblessed. I played this on a Samsung Odyssey HMD with no problems.. A fun look at the world of the Stormlight Archive. There was one part that was a little nauseating, but in general it was a good experience, and much more interactive and game-like than many similarly pitched 'experiences'. Die hard SLA fans: This is a pretty awesome experience just to see the parshendi and the chasms up close in VR. The chasm fiend is just as scary in VR as I imagined in the book. I am happy I got this, even if it only takes 15 minutes to beat. I did wait till this went on sale for $4 and I definitely think that is the best choice if you can wait. I think it is worth it just to support any dev that will developer Sanderson games, hence why I am going to recommend it.Anyone else: Don't buy this. It is unpolished, clunky, and definitely not worth the money. There are much better VR games for the price. Go read The Way of Kings, then you will likely become a Die Hard SLA fan as I listed above. Decide then if this is worth it to you.. This game looks beautiful and sounds beautiful. The production value is very high. Sadly that's where the positives end. This feel like a prologue or demo. Just when you think that the game is about to begin, it ends. I would have loved to play more and that makes me even more sad to not recommend this. 10.99 is simply way too much for this. If you can get it for under 5$ sure try it out but keep in mind its only 20min long at the most.. 11 for 15 minutes of play time and 3 minutes of credits. Even as a huge fan of Sanderson's Stormlight novels, I can't recommend this. As a free demo it's interesting. As a middling priced VR game it's kind of an embarassment.. I recommend this game, BUT there are factors to consider: only people like me, who know the content of the books and like Brandon Sanderson's The Way Of Kings should buy this one. All the others, I don't think they could appreciate what there is to appreciate in this product. Another thing: this is like a tutorial of a game, not a game as we usually intend it to be. To say it simple: buy it only if you want to take a look at the Shattered Plains, the rockbuds, chulls and so on. Finished in a single seesion!
